McHENRY- David Gasior spent the past six years training franchise owners how to build retail and business to businesses to sell Nextel/Sprint Communications products and services.

Now, Gasior said he thinks it is time to put his money where his mouth is. 

Gasior and his wife, Kelly, have opened Solutions Wireless, Inc/Air 1 Wireless in a 1,200-square-foot building in a strip mall in McHenry. 

"I want to see if the creative ideas I have been encourageing owners to try is full of beans or if I actually know what I was doing the past six years." said Gasior. who worked out of facilities in Buffalo Grove and Itasca during his tenure covering Nextel's and Sprint's Chicago-area region.


"It's different doing this for myself. I am using my own money now."

Solutions Wireless, which employs six, sells Sprint and Nextel products and services.  They are also home to a full service centercer named Air 1 Wireless.  Air 1 Wireless is certified to repair all phones offiered by Sprint and Nextel. 

We named the company Solutions Wireless because that is what we want to be- a solution to all your communications problems," Gasior said.

"Wether you are communicating through a wireless phone of the internet, we can help."


This industry has moved to being a bunch of retail stores throwing out rate sheets to customers as soon as they walk in the door.

"We do not have rate sheets.  We sit down and figure out what the customer is doing, what their problems are , and what they want out of their communications services.  Then, we come up with a rate plan suitable to the services they want and need.

John Kozicki, Owner of JK Heating and air in Wonder Lake, recently purchased two- way direct connect talking phones from Solutions wireless.  Kozicki said he has been satisfied with Solutions Wireless.  "I went in there a couple of times just to see what they sell and get a feel for their attitude." Kozicki said.  "I liked what I saw, so I kept coming back and Dave Gasior kept answering my questions.  He really nknew what he was doing.  I was satisfied with the customer service I received, so far.  I like the product a lot."

Gasior and Solutions Wireless wants to show customers how to make better use of their wireless device.  "People have had their phones for so long, but do not know every thing the phone can do for them."  he said.  "There phone can be a personal data assistant or a date book.  These phones can do so many things that people who have owned them for a long time still are unaware of."
